A few years ago, Renkaatalle began building a custom e-commerce platform with multiple integrations. The entrepreneur’s vision was to provide consumers with Finland’s best tire purchasing experience at a competitive price. However, the store was developed based on intuition, and growth was slow. A communication gap between the development and marketing teams negatively impacted sales. When the entrepreneur saw Vill’s data-driven development ad, he decided to try this solution.

Renkaatalle is an e-commerce retailer in the tire industry, with its parent company generating approximately €4 million in annual revenue. The business focuses on winter and summer tires as well as installation services, operating in a highly competitive market, particularly on price. Previous marketing collaborations focused on individual areas, and the lack of a comprehensive strategy prevented the company from reaching its full potential.
Challenges
Before the collaboration, the e-commerce strategy and weak points had gone unrecognized, making it difficult to increase sales without an effective conversion process. The checkout experienced challenges, resulting in a significant number of abandoned purchases each month. Focusing on driving traffic to a broken store without a comprehensive strategy limited sales growth.
Solution
The collaboration began with Vill’s comprehensive e-commerce audit, covering over 400 points. This analysis identified critical areas for improvement, and prioritized actions were implemented weekly, strengthening the store step by step. Data and visual analysis helped form a holistic strategy that highlighted sales-blocking bottlenecks.
Implementation
After the research phase, development progressed in parallel across multiple areas, including Google Analytics and Google Ads performance, content production, and conversion optimization. During the first month, workshops were also held to review conversion, advertising, and content creation, engaging the client in decision-making and familiarizing them with Vill’s methodologies.
Results
As a result of these initiatives, Renkaatalle’s monthly sales doubled, reaching €120,000. The e-commerce store became profitable, enabling the client to invest more aggressively in future growth. The sales growth clearly demonstrated the effectiveness and scalability of the development efforts.
